Q: What is the Cultural Foundation?
A:
Cultural Foundation is located in the heart of Abu Dhabi. It was built as the UAE’s and the region’s first dedicated cultural centre since it opened its doors to Abu Dhabi’s residents in 1981. For more information, visit Our Story page here. 
Q: WHAT CAN I DO AT CULTURAL FOUNDATION?
A:
Experience our exhibitions and immerse yourself in art. No prior booking is needed, entrance is free. Attend a performance or sign up for a variety of art workshops for teens and adults at Al Marsam Al Hor, Arabic calligraphy workshops at Bait Al Khatt. Children can read books and take part in workshops and activities at the Children’s Library and Children’s Art Centre. For more information, click here to view the calendar.
Q: Is there a guide available at the Cultural Foundation? If yes, what are the charges?

A member of the visitor service team will be happy to help for no additional charge. 
Q: IS INTERNET ACCESS AVAILABLE FOR VISITORS?

Yes, complimentary wifi is provided across the Cultural Foundation.
Q: Will there be access for individuals with disabilities?

Yes, please approach our visitor experience specialists at our ticketing points.
Q: Are wheelchairs available to use?

Yes, wheelchairs are available at the Cultural Foundation. 
Q: Are there praying facilities available at the Cultural Foundation?

You can visit the prayer rooms at Cultural Foundation or alternatively the Musallah which is near the North Parking.

The Cultural Foundation is an enjoyable experience for all family members.
Q: Are there Cafes/restaurants in Cultural Foundation?

Yes, Wild and The Moon is located at the Welcome Centre as well as Mirzam and Espresso Lab near the North Parking.

Getting There

Q: Where is the Cultural Foundation located?
A:
Cultural Foundation is located in the heart of Abu Dhabi opposite Qasr Al Hosn, between Zayed the first street, and Hamdan Street overlooking Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Street. To get directions click here.

There is a parking available across the street as well as underground parking.
Q: Is there a valet parking service?

Yes, there is a valet parking service.
