A workshop specializing in the art of gilding. In this workshop, participants will learn how to dissolve gold using water and Arabic glue. After that, the water is filtered and purified of the glue, after which it is ready for use and gilding. Instructor: Ali Mamdouh

The Diwani script was invented during the days of the Ottoman Empire and was used to write letters to the sultans due to the beauty and clarity of its letters.
