Abu Dhabi Children’s Library is celebrating the idea that love for reading can begin from day one through the globally recognised early literacy initiative "1,000 Books Before Kindergarten". Created for children from birth to five years old, the programme invites families to read together, turning everyday moments into stories, conversations, and shared discoveries. Parents and caregivers are supported as their child’s very first teachers. From first words to big imaginations, families are guided every step of the way, helping build strong language skills, school readiness, and a lifelong joy of learning. Participation is free and open to all families.
