Silk Painting; Mastering the Medium with Tamara
A course that offers a vibrant and immersive creative experience, inviting participants to explore colour, flow, and movement on silk. Through hands‑on experimentation with dyes and techniques, participants learn how pigments interact with the fabric’s natural texture, creating expressive, fluid artworks that celebrate spontaneity and precision at the same time.
About the instructor:
With 30 years of experience in the art field, Thamara has explored various mediums and art forms. She specialises in silk painting, her preferred art medium, and has exhibited her work in the UAE and internationally, including in Georgia and Italy. She has taught art at the Emirates College for Advanced Education and Abu Dhabi Women’s College, as well as at Al Marsam Al Hor. Thamara believes that art heals the soul.
