Learn the art of basic Islamic pattern, an art form which complements Arabic calligraphy. Islamic patterns are distinguished by aesthetic features and forms which fuse motifs, geometric shapes and calligraphy to create complex but beautiful designs. During this one-day workshop, you will be introduced to sketching patterns with pencil, black inking and the formation of coloured decorative units.
