Open Call: Art Residency Programme 2024

Applications are open until 31 January 2024.

The six-month programme provides a platform for professional artists, designers, architects, writers, performers, researchers, film makers and other culture practitioners to advance their skills and practice through dedicated studio spaces and resources. The residency programme enables participants to produce and exhibit works within Cultural Foundation, providing unparalleled visibility and endorsement.

Applications are open until 31 January 2024.

Artists in residence are offered:

Dedicated studio space within Cultural Foundation
24 hours access to their studios
Curatorial support
Access to Cultural Foundation facilities
Financial resources

The dates of the Art Residency are:

25 March 2024 - 20 September 2024
25 September 2024 - 20 March 2025

Applicants must state in which half of the year 2024 they want to start their residency.

Application Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or a similar academic degree in visual arts or a relevant cultural field
Portfolio with a minimum of 8 works in PDF format
Artist CV, including relevant exhibition history, in PDF format
Contact email and phone number
Short biography (max. 100 words) in PDF format
Artist statement (max. 150 words) in PDF format
Personal photo
Passport copy
Copy of Unified Number (UAE nationals)
Copy of Residency visa (Non-UAE nationals)
Copy of Emirates ID, front and back
