Open Call for Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators

Application Details
- Participation in the competition is open to the citizens and residents of the United Arab Emirates.
- The submitted story must not be award winning or have previously been published in paper or electronic form.
- Participation in the competition is open to anyone aged 15 or above.
- Stories written should be targeted to children 1 – 14 years of age.
- There are no requirements for the type and style of the story, and no word limit.
- The illustrator’s name must also be included.
- Submitted text must be free of spelling/grammatical errors.
- The award is given to the owner of the project who submitted the proposal.
- There must be both text and art elements to the story.
- First place will receive AED 17,000, second place AED 13,000 and third place AED 10,000.
