Creating perfume inspired by Najat Makki's paintings

Participants will translate Najat Makki's paintings into their own personal scents. Najat's inspiration, obtained through spices, colours and natural elements, will be combined with participants' personal memories and their family histories to create their own perfumes. Mona Al Haddad, a visual arts graduate from Zayed University, will highlight Najat's influence on the role of women in Emirati culture and will stimulate memories through colour and perfume.
